With the game speed slider, you should be able to make it even faster than last year, if that is what you'd like. Shouldnt be a a problem.

i dont care either way as long as its realistic. if a gus running a 4.6 40 yard dash he should in game run a 40 at 4.9. (with helmet and pads on im sure there 40 time goes down.)

I did not have a problem with the game speed from last year either, but as long as the change impacts the game in a more realistic manner and makes the game play better I'm all for it. Yes the bad part is for people that find Madden 10 to slow they will not be able to adjust the speed online. From the videos, however the game looks to be at a very similar pace to last year which makes sense since it was only decreased by 5-10%.
