I've been reading recently that it's only a matter of weeks b4 madden goes gold. If this is true what can still be done developmentally wise?Is it just gameplay tweaks and bug fixes or can they still add things in the game?

I know they have been tweaking running animations and stuff like that but is there still time to add new ones? Basically, is it too late for the community to asking for new features?

Madden 09 went gold on June 25th...

I would hope EA wraps up Madden early this year and spends a few months just playing the game to find all of the bugs that consumers normally find with in the first hour of playing the game.

Maybe they'll pull a Blizzard and release it when it's ready.

I'd much rather wait for a finished product that have an incomplete and bug ridden game put on the market (which a LOT of companies do now days because of the ability to update).
