What excites you the most about Madden NFL 10?

The SIM approach.

just to be able to feel that i'm playing a good game of sim football. And see the likeness of the NFL and not say that can never happen in real life. ie defender catching balls without looking at it and the spin catch animation

It's impossible for me to get excited about a game that has consistently failed to live up to my expectations, but the one feature that intrigues me the most about the game is the possibility of realistic gameplay.

That's an awesome feeling. I can kinda relate becuase back before madden 09 came out, I asked Phil about whether or not weather will be in online games on the EA madden forums. He said no and then that post was spread to many other madden sites and even pasta padre. Due to the backlash, online weather eventually found its way into Madden 09 and I kinda had a part in it. So yeah, that was cool but what you got to do is even cooler.

Anyways, the thing that excites me the most is just that Madden 10 looks like it'll be the very first Madden that feels 100% next-gen/new. It seems like I'll be blown away by the things in the game like I was back during the PS2 Maddens (2004 and 2005 in particular). Ian and the rest of the team has been doing a heck of a job and it's really showing. This looks to be the first madden this gen that will have me amazed each time I play it, and that is what has me excited.

I know its a very tiny thing but.....the first Time its 3rd down and I get tackled right by the first down marker and I see the chain gang come runnin onto the field and watching as that chain tightens and the nose of the ball is just barely over or short of the marker....thats gonna be a exciting moment for me
