Re: Injury Blog?

The injury system isn't the same as last years. We have already heard that it is different.

Different stokes for different dudes. I could give a rats underparts about on-line play. I won't use it. I don't like it.

So, while you may imagine that injuries don't warrant a blog, losers like me (who just want to play franchise, import NCAA rosters, and imagine that they are the GM, coach, and players of an NFL team until their tvs break), losers like me, and I know I'm not alone, really do think that realistic representation of injuries deserves a blog.

Re: Injury Blog?

So if the injury system was screwed up the butt, but we had no lag during online you'd be happy?

Its all opinion. It makes me mad when people say stuff like that.

Agreed....I play online but care a lot more about franchise and things like the injuries than online play...

Playing online against other REAL opponents is far more important to me than whether or not an injury is portrayed in a certain way. Yes injuries need to be portrayed in a fairly realistic fashion but when you consider which needs more work from EA, the injury system they have now or their online system, it's a pretty clear cut answer that online needs far more attention.

This is especially true now that more and more folks are getting online and playing rather than simply playing a CPU that, no matter how good (or bad) the AI is, is simply never going to rival playing another human.

Re: Injury Blog?

I don't think it would be fun if you're RB got hurt every time you got tackled. Or your QB got winded after every other play and had to sit out or he would risk a career ending injury. I don't see why I would risk that to play Madden online.
