Just video game lingo. When a game is being made and is finalized and set to mass produce it is said to have "gone gold". Means it is finished and no more changes can be made.

Games usually go "gold" anywhere from 2 weeks to a month before they are printed for retail discs.

I don't think they need to post new screenshots to the community, just to a select 3 or 4 individuals who have proven themselves to have a really good eye for catching errors.

As evidenced by the Jaguars thread, there's plenty of people that don't notice these things or don't care enough. When you've got 125 people saying "these look awesome!!!1!one!!" while one or two people are going "wait... something isn't right...", it's easy to not notice those 2 people when you're skimming a thread.

ok... The Jaguars just got NEW uniforms THIS YEAR !! looking at those pics those are pretty ACCURATE compared to the new uniforms. How is all these things wrong with the Jaguars uniforms??? like for example the titan helmet stripes going all the way instead of fading after half the way. Good idea but maybe the devs have other ways of figuring this out.
