Decent read. I think the scouting will be really improved this year but I could see areas where they could make it better. Reading the blog I would guess that it won't be much different than before, just streamlined and somewhat useful. One area that they really need to add on to though is offseason recruiting (senior bowl, pro days, individual workouts). Also, during the season if you scout a player it should also maybe unlock small amounts of knowledge about their teammates as well as players from the team they are playing if that would be possible.

Nice blog B.You hit on alot of issues that I have with scouting.I wish a blog from Ian would've touched on these things when your in the offseason. Madden 10 may have it right this year. Nice read.

Good blog it was a good read, i really hope the system of having busts and gems really works, i enjoy the thought of being able to find a gem in the later rounds, but we will see in a few months.
