Madden 10 Demo

Well I'm not going to download it. What sense does it make to download the demo a week before the actual game comes out?

Yeah, I didn't get too much out of last years demo. Actually, I think the demo made me decide not to buy the game last year. I bought the collectors edition for Head Coach and sold my friend Madden 9. I never played 1 game of Madden 9 besides the demo, probably the first game of Madden I havn't played since the early 90's, maybe even since the original. It wasn't that I thought it was that horrible, but decided not worth the upgrade from NCAA last year when I play that more with friends anyways. I think this year is a buy for me, but the demo might change my feelings. I didn't care for 08 and didn't play 09 so I am really getting the Madden itch back. Right now the Madden team is saying all the things I have wanted fixed for years so I am getting excitied. Im sure the demo will probably be like a week before the release which is the norm for EA. I have been playing the UFC demo and it came out a month before the game and it has been kinda aganising (sp?) as I have this great demo for a month and it make the time until release seem like an enternity, so I really hope they don't release the demo to early. I think THQ was kinda ballsy releasing a demo a month before the game came out and allowing a full fight instead of like just a round.

If I wanted to play online I'd have gold already,I tried one of the older ones online (trial account) and it's not worth it,I didn't even play for free on PS3 when it still worked so I'm not paying here. I also have no intent on waiting 6 weeks for a roster update to start my franchise.

I do have one trial account left but should probably save it for something with choice since I'll end up buying Madden anyway since it's the only option for now.

Prime example here. I have SOOOO many friends who refuseto play Madden anymore. When I finally got them to try the demo there wasn't nearly enough substance for them to change their minds. They want to like the game, but have such a sour taste in their mouths from previous iterations that I can't even get them to play the retail game. We need a LEGIT demo. If this game is as good as it sounds, they'll win back a lot of dissapointed people with a solid demo.
