Glitches do happen, but that is one that should never happen in a football game, in my opinion anyway.

Even if that happens, the play should still be overturned in a review. Ian has been pretty quiet on this subject and that cannot be good.

Great video...and the right attitude.

Accepted, no game will ever be perfect. However, blown calls in Madden can be excruciatingly frustrating.

I had some bad calls during "Tussle in Tampa", but I think it made for better drama.




Like @ 4:00 - the guy's knee is down before the ball comes out. Still ruled a fumble.

Or @ 4:52 - Bush does that crazy animation where his foot never touches the ground - catch ruled out of bounds.

I'm pretty confident stuff like this got tuned for Madden 10...but if not I will venture that the addition of refs on the field are going to make me more willing to buy the outcome of the calls. Gotta respect authority.

Agree completely. Considering how many people play Madden offline and online, and how many STILL play Madden 09...no one has ever pointed this out before so it's not like a "pressing issue" that needs to be fixed. It's a glitch that happened once out of a million plays.
