If I were to buy Madden 09 (not a huge football fan, but a casual one) is there a way to get updated rosters by connecting it to the internet like MLB 09: The Show or would I only be able to manually change the rosters?

if u wanted to go this route with updating rosters i'd just get nfl 2k5 rather than madden 09.

I have a PS3 that's not backwards compatible and my PS2 no longer works so I guess that's not really a option for me.

You can get end of the season ones. You might try looking in the rosters area in this forum to see if you can find anything but I don't know for sure.

I would think you can do a roster update at this time on madden 09.

Yeah just get a roster update from online.
