I was just about to post that I thought the Backbreaker player looked...segmented...for lack of a better word...maybe its just the uniform, but they player looks like it has removable legs, and that you could remove parts of his body for "Kung-Fu grip" and "realistic battle damage"...

Backbreaker looks more like action figures to me than an actual player...and they are exceedingly shiny. A raccoon's dream.

...just better cleats? They need more than that....but visually, Madden is fine in my opinion...

There is just something off with the lower bodies on the Madden models. It could be socks and cleats which I hope they change. The BB body does look good IMO. It is different than Madden obviously but the proportions are correct. I see the OP point, if you don't look at the pads the body looks correct from head to toe.

If its the proportions you appreciate, that has nothing to do with the graphics. That is just the design of the model. I'm sure the graphics on the current gen systems could render this.

That looks like garbage.

People are completely overrating BackBreaker. The only thing Ive seen to be excited about that game thus far is more realistic physics. The tackles are cool, but I want to see more realistic tackles as far as ones that happen on a regular basis, not those ones you see maybe a few times a game.

I have a feeling BB will be closer to Blitz: The League than an actual football sim.

I don't think that the Madden team is ready to use Natural Motion yet. They still want to see how well it works in Back Breaker. EASPORTS has been using mo-cap for years, and I'm sure it will stay that way.
