Yes there is.

Two different pairs of gray pants. Why?

A blue jersey with absolutely no red on it and no sleeve stripes...then a white jersey with no blue and striping. If they didn't have the logo on the collar, you wouldn't know those two jerseys belonged to the same team.

The only team with a more inconsistent uniform is the Cowboys.

I think Madden has them done accurately so there's no issue there... but it'd still be really nice to get the 2000 version as an option. (Along with all the other variations over the years including the blue pants from the 70's)

Simple is good. Personally, I like the Giants jerseys. Look at Penn State, Colts, Jets, etc.

The Giants aren't simple. Simple would be one single set of gray pants and a white jersey in the same style as the dark one - in other words, blue numbers and no sleeve stripes, which would look better and make a lot more sense IMO. I mean, the team is nick-named "Big Blue" and wear a jersey with absolutely NO BLUE on it.

Personally, I think a hybrid of the 80's uniform and the current one would work really nicely. Keep the home gray pants and current helmet, but use the Simms/Taylor era jerseys. Assuming that throwback is fixed and stays in the game, I know I'll be using that combination with the mix-n-match options.
