procedural awareness question

Way back in february when the proceduaral awareness blog came out, it was stated at that point that it was purely cosmetic. My question is to any of the eight chosen ones or anyone with some info is procedural awareness still just sometic or does it affect gameplay? Either way Madden will be a great game.

I am not one of the "community day" guys, but I don't think that it affects game play. I think that it is primarily based on head tracking.

Mainly head tracking to make the WR look before he really can the ball. and CB have to look back just to the ball before he can knock it down. No more the eyes in the back of the head bull again. I am glad.
