Will Madden Ever Change To "Broadcast" DEFAULT camera view?

The only reason that worked is because you had absolutely zero control over your WR. Once guys got downfield you were totally blind and could only rely on arrows to tell you where your player and his defensive assignment was.

If anything, I personally really wish that TV broadcasts would switch their camera angle to a Madden-like one. I am really f'ing tired of having no idea what's going on down the field until the ball gets there.

Good topic. Personally, I would LOVE to see Madden go to a broadcast default camera view. The problem with receivers downfield could easily be solved with a camera that slowly zoomed out for long pass plays, the way NBA Shootout used to zoom back in the old PS1 days. If Tiburon was an innovator, they'd figure out a way to make it happen.

Tecmo was really more of a blimp cam than a broadcast view, and as was pointed out it had serious issues with wr's being uncoverable once they ran off the screen.

Why in the world should they adopt a default camera angle that almost no one wants? That's not being innovative, it's just dumb.
