it is the 550 series... really no difference between 720 and 1080 unless you want to use blue ray

I've got a 550 series Samsung as well. Very solid TV's. Still working on getting some decent surround sound though.

yeah i agree. i think samsung makes the best plasma out there.....my brother-in law got the "touch of color" lcd. that tv is the best picture i have ever seen. you have to check it out in a store sometime.
