Why not release 2 Madden games?

Where is the benefit? you would sale the same amount of games even if you were to put out 2 versions.
The only thing that would happen as a developer is you lose millions of dollars?

You must be a young man and in your life $20.00 is a lot of money, well multiply that by lets just say 50 thousand.
That's just at release, EA just lost 10 million dollars.

This doesn’t even account for residual sales, make no mistake this forum is fun and Ian & the developers are doing a great job; JOB! This is a job they wouldn't do it for free, EA got an exclusive license to make more money not less.

Don’t get me wrong I think your idea is great, but this would make no sense.
Maybe one day santa will buy EA, and we can all get Madden for free

NFL Head Coach (PS2)?
NFL Head Coach 2009 (PS3/XB360)?

Those games and their total lack of sales is your answer....EA has tried this multiple ways and every one of them outside of Madden has failed miserably (if they had not, lets be real, then we would be seeing hype videos from NFL Tour 10)...

I really thought Head Coach was a great idea if it had only been more like a melding of Madden Franchise controls, Owner Mode and what was already in the game...that is one crazy detailed game, just too boring for me though...
