I like how 2K5 had aggression and composure and consistency. They were very apparent in the gameplay. Players with high aggression went for more, made harder hits and also if they had low composure would make more penalties. High composure might players were clutch as well as much more focused.

Consistency was also great to make it that a player doesnt always play to the exact number.

It should work like in MLB the show. Once you lose confidence in a pitch it becomes harder to place your pitches on the corners. You start throwing more and more balls over the strike zone and possibly getting demolished. Confidence, if done right, could be a nice edition to the next madden.
