I think he just wanted to slow down the hype. All the hype on this, would make for a bad day. For EA and Ian and co. With that said, im happy he did.

I'm not going to get too excited... yet. I remember how jacked I got when I heard "online leagues" were in Madden 09 only to learn that they were implemented the way they were.

If they do online franchise how we want it to be done 2-32 teams, full free agency, draft, pro bowls, championships etc. I'll be as jacked as I've ever been. I just don't want to see "supports 4-8 players".

Imagine the drafts, the drama! It'd be so awesome!

I would come close to putting my house against that having any possibility of being true. Ian knows well what we expect when we hear the words "online franchise." He wouldn't try to pull co-op franchise out there and make it sound like something it is not.

Now what is possible? Automated drafts, Automated free agent signings, thigns of that nature could bring it down but it WILL be Online Franchise.
