I hope so, i really do. I am confident they will have a strong showing at the demo booth. I am looking forward to what they have to show, i am just hopefull it is more than the stuff they have already discussed/ revealed.

i understand where the op is coming from, but he has to understand that as a company it was in EA's best interest to advertise their biggest feature this year and it wasn't anything offline, it was online franchise.

I know but why would you ever buy less then a year, its cheaper then a new game, and on Newegg you can get it for $40.

Because, Online Franchise is probably their biggest addition this year. They wanted to highlight a few things thats to come from EA Sports this yr and quickly talking about online franchise made the most sense, for the reason i specified above.

It doesn't matter tho, they could have shown 30 minutes of Madden gameplay and it would haven't even started to compete with the Mass Effect 2 trailer and the Knights of the Old Republic trailer.

Relax guys...The most important part of E3 is the fact that now the embargo has been lifted. We're about to start seeing more info and screens of things we have never seen within the next 24-48 hours.

As everyone else is saying E3 is not over yet. This is just day 1. We still have the rest of the week. They will probably release more info when they are interviewed on the floor.
