Why does every tackle go into a cut scene?

After watching all these videos, I notice the same thing. When a tackle is made, the camera switches to a different, zoomed-in angle while the tackle is being made.

Why?

It's refreshing watching incomplete passes because my eyes don't get bothered with the zoom in. Can we turn this option off?

I think it looks pretty good actually. The more "broadcast style" and the less "gameplay cam" we see, the better.

I think it's called the "zoom camera angle". And you can choose 3 other camera angles if you don't like it.


Something like these options:

1. Action
2. Action-Zoom (probably the one you are talking about)
3. Classic
4. Classic-Wide

Someone correct me if I'm wrong?

I'm pretty sure the zoom camera angle is referring to a tighter playable gameplay camera, not the post play camera shots that we're talking about.

At first the quick cut caught me off guard, but the animations at very end of the tackle and as the players are piling off are a lot more attractive to show close up than the zombie jog to the huddle that they would be showing if they waited a second or two longer.

Nah we need all the presentation and camera cuts we can get. That's 1 of the reasons Madden was so wack this gen.

Problem is they kick in way too quick, and cut to the playcall screen way too quick.
