It has never been about the kick meter IMO.
It's always been about kickers kicking to their PROPER ratings and wind/weather conditions playing a factor.

We all make mistakes with the meter. The meter is not the issue.

The issue is kickers who kick way beyond their ratings.


I'd be sick to my stomach if EA put in some sort of kick system that completely erased ratings and forced you to rely entirely on your eye-hand co-ordination. A 500 mph meter is not the answer. Proper rating kicking is.

"Hate to burst your negativity bubble, but basically every single statistical banner pulls data dynamically based on the previous or current year in Franchise (including Career stats). In Play Now, it uses the same exact database queries, it's just that the current year is always 2009 in Play Now so it pulls 2008 stats. There are some career stat banners in play now too though.

Anyways good job on the gameplay. Loved the quick jukes by CP.

The only flaw i could point out was the spin move should be a bit tighter. Looks way to slow and covers to much ground.

Little harsh, dontcha' think? I didn't percieve this as "bitching", just stating his opinion. And with the hundreds of threads here he missed the only post that addressed his concern....cut the guy a little slack.

It needs to be a combination of both...but not the system they have had where every kicker in the game is automatic from any distance from 1 to 55 yards out, regardless of his attributes or the conditions. It's ridiculous

I like the short snap in shotgun...I saw it here...and in other videos I thought I saw the snap go a bit high....

Has anyone seen any of the players wearing handwarmers? I don't believe I've seen it in any of the snow videos.

I also find it strange that Matt Schaub would be out there in the cold with no sleeves on like he's a lineman. He's a QB, they have to keep their arms warm.
