The TRUE test would be 1p vs. CPU footage

I, for one, would REALLY like to see some single player vs. CPU gameplay footage...an extended video of this, uninterrupted and unedited....don't even really care which teams. To me, this will be the REAL example of what has changed/been fixed/tweaked in Madden this year. And I'm talking the most CURRENT BUILD of the game, not what was shown at E3.

I'm wanting to see the CPU clock management, penalties, CPU playcalling, ROBO QB, the works.

I'm an offline franchise player, and having these things fixed is the ONLY way I'll buy Madden this year...anyone else agree?

I agree to an certain extent. I am loving a lot of the new features, and I'll probably still buy it this year, but I'd still like to see if anything has been improved as far as what you're saying.

I am buying the game either way at this point... but user vs. cpu is what is most important to me as well... I want to make sure that it plays the most realistic game of football possible... Hopefully we can get some footage like that..

Thanks Ian, this will be the video that convinces me to buy or rent. Can't wait, as from what I've seen so far I'm feeling particularly optimistic.

Please don't skip the cut scenes or fast forward through the huddles/post plays as I like to soak up the atmosphere you've worked so hard to create this year. That's one thing from the E3 vids that has been frustrating for me.

Any chance of dusk game so we can also see the amazing lighting and self shadowing that Michael has implemented so well too?

You know what, Ian, you and I have had our differences over the past year (more to do with Madden than with you personally), but I gotta' admit, you've done a number of things to change my opinion.

Remember when you stated it was your personal goal to make me and BezO want to buy this years game? Well, show me this footage in all it's glory, and it will answer the last few questions I really have regarding my decision this year.

Kudos to you either way....you made serious progress in a short time.
