TD Celebrations in Madden 10

Or just straight into an untriggered, fancy looking cutscene?

My inference from watching E3 videos suggests the latter..does this mean custom celebrations are gone already?

I hope so. I don't like going to certain spots just to do a celebration. Some of the celebrations looked pretty awkward anyway.


I would rather have celebrations mapped to certain buttons and be able to choose how to celebrate and maybe even choose your cut scene celebration.

Yes I think if they leave custom celebrations it should always cut to at least a different angle..every time. In 09 it would only do this in blue zones. To be honest an on/off feature for custom celebrations would be perfect.
Great idea on having different buttons too, in 2k5 wasn't it?

I would agree based on the e3 vids it looks like a cut scene immediatly occurs with no user controlled celebration. I think it would be cool if we got to choose what touchdown celebration we did but i didnt like madden 09's running around after a td.

In Madden 09 for the PS2 when you scored a touchdown you could pick "Square" for a subdued celebration, "Triangle" For a multiplayer one and "Circle" for an Over the Top one

They could do this because once you picked it the camera angle would change and the celebration would ensue.

I think they should just keep it simple. After you score a TD, you could press one of the four face buttons. The options could be:
1) An individual flashy dance.
2) A team celebration.
3) Simple spike the ball between the legs
4) Individual dance that isn't so explicit.

And if you don't press anything, the player could just drop the ball or give it to the ref. I think it would be pretty cool if each button could be modified as well, like if the player is standing still vs running, they would do different things.
And after you press a button, it could then transition to a cut scene.

To tell you the truth. Right now it hard to tell with very little on this certain thing. Maybe Ian can give us the answer are somthing.
