How about Giants fans? Except we were always in a much better position than most teams are because we always made the playoffs.

Everyone (except me) were calling for Tom Coughlin's job before the start of the 2007 season. People thought he would be replaced before the season was even over. Then things turned around mid-way into the season, thus resulting in one of the most impressive Superbowl victories in NFL history. I doubt that this could happen with any other team because the Giants always had the talent, but sometimes lacked the mindset to win in the playoffs. Tom Coughlin really instilled discipline into the team, which resulted into two successful seasons.

The Lions are one of, if not the worst franchise in Pro Sports for over 5 decades. The Bills don't come any where near the ineptitude that is the Lions. Sorry, try again.

Sorry, the pre-season doesn't count buddy. Teams are not "actually" trying their hardest to win. Most backups play anyways.
