When the runners move from left to right.. it just does not look right, looks to robotic, like their feet, people's feet dont move so quickly when moving from one angle to another, at least slow down alittle bit.. I don't think this will never happened cuz it was like this since 07

They really need some animations to show acceleration because it doesn't look right when the rb just stands up straight and runs full speed

yeah they dont get low enough when they run, db's are the only ones really running straight up if they are trying to hold catch up to a reciver or running back

Also in a full sprint the stride length is too long which makes their legs look like they are moving slowly. They need short quick strides and a slight forward lean, then when full speed is reached (in the open field) they need the runner to take longer strides and have less of a lean. If they can fix the running animations i think it would really make the game more realistic.

The problem is that the runners carry no weight when moving left and right.

They can literally turn on a dime and not loose speed, hence the arcadeiness of Madden NFL 10.

I hear ya but it's like most people seem to be ok with it. Not sure why i think they need to make this alot beter but it seems to be falling on def ears.

My advise to you would be for you to not buy the game. Find a football game that you feel has a running style you can live with and play that, then you sould be all set.
