Does anyone know?

If CPU teams in the online franchise will pick people up from the "waiver wire"? If not what happens when someone retires?

Thanks

Well they could draft people, or pickup some scrub from the free agent markets. Wow i just realized right when the franchise starts it's gonna be a mad scramble to get derrick brooks and all the highly rated players on free agents. That should be interesting.

I hope the AI makes intelligent decisions or at least refrain from making completely ridiculous moves.. In different franchises I have played for the 360 version, there have been so many times when Peyton Manning just gets released out of the blue. Clinton Portis gets released or some other all star player. And on top of that, absolutely no one signs them till the seasons nearly over. I even tried signing Peyton Manning just to trade him to a team in desperate need of a QB and what happens? Peyton Manning sits on the depth chart behind Shaun Hill and Alex Smith...

CPU teams will be replacing anyone who retires from their team with draft picks.

If they lose 2 WR, 1 SS, 1 G, and 1 DE in retirement...they will draft those exact positions to fill the spots on the roster.

The Patriots would just as likely sign a veteran. Too tall an order for this year?

Its cool that they are programmed to draft needs, but wouldn't it make sense to target a WR in free agency if you are losing 2 of them?

There's not really any Free Agency in online franchise.
