Question Madden NFL 10, Playbook discussions (Wildcat talk) . . .

This is Opened up for playbook discussion and playcalling theories. My question is why does every single team I seen Gameplay footage have the Wildcat Formation , let alone use it. Also Weren't the playbooks supposed to be more team specific, including better plays in for that teams playbook? I have only seen the eagles with something like that, they had several types of screens for westbrook & recievers. Any comfirmed information would be greatly appreciated.

I didn't see any teams use the Wildcat playbook that don't use it in real life.

I saw the Eagles had some new offensive plays called "Philly something" which I was glad to see. I'm disappointed in the defense PB which I was hoping they would do some serious things to but looks almost the exact same except that 4-4 thing.

Something that I've noticed about the Wildcat is that it shows up in the personnel section at the playcall screen, so when it's user vs. user, the defense will know the offense is in the wildcat. The problem is that the wildcat uses the exact same personnel as say, the I-Form, with the exception being where the players line up pre-snap. Isn't the Wildcat supposed to catch your opponent off-guard?

Re: Madden NFL 10, Playbook discussions (Wildcat talk) . . .

I have actually noticed several variants of the wild cat on the madden videos. there is the one the dolphins use that looks like a 3 wr spread with the HB lined up in the slot (Ricky Williams), the WR and the QB on the outsides as wide outs and the TE replacing the LT and overloading the right side of the line. If you look at the video of Chiefs video when LJ comes out of the shutgun it looks different. There seem to be two WRs and I assume one is the QB with an overloaded line and the HB lined up next to the wildcat "HB/QB" (LJ in that case) instead of the slot like the Dolphins use. I wonder how many variants they have made of the wildcat in madden 10? I may be off on the personnel but they do look different.
