There is one problem I just thought of with making the demo for Madden 10 a rematch of the Super Bowl, the problem is much more drastic with NCAA, but it applies here too. The rosters are different than when the original game (SB/BCS championship) were played.

For the most part, this is a minor thing for this year's Madden, but imagine if Kurt Warner had retired, or Anquan Boldin had gotten his trade, maybe even James Harrison got caught using steroids and was suspended from the NFL... suddenly key players in the original game are missing, handicapping one team or the other. Again, this makes a bigger difference in NCAA (imagine trying to play the UF/OU game if Tebow and Bradford had gone to the draft), but it still makes a difference. If the Steeler's didn't have Harrison in the Super Bowl, that 101 yard INT return would likely never have happened. The Cards score there and I think they win the game.

It's a demo, they are not aiming for realistic rosters, it's just for you to see if you like the gameplay.

i'm sure they will use the rosters from the Super Bowl, not an updated version.

My issue with it is they're both 3-4 teams. Different styles of 3-4 to be sure, but it'd be nice to have seen Cardinals vs. Eagles, so you can get the two most common defensive schemes in the NFL. Maybe Eagles vs. Ravens, but you wanna get some dominant offensive players into the demo for the kiddies to play with.

Yeah, it's just a demo of a game to give you an idea of what it's like. It's not real life. Geez... What would you suggest they do instead?
