Why did you move to the next Gen for madden?

I moved to the next generation system fearing that they would do to the ps2 as they did with the ps1 and stop making software, I have a ps3 and it is backwards compatible, I played madden 08 and discover that they just did not have a good camera angle, I would throw blindly and interceptions became frustrating. I went back to playing the ps2 version. I am hoping this year will be different, just in case I have all my past versions of madden.

I've asked myself this question a number of times the last four years.

To be honest...I didn't keep myself informed about the real situation, from the start of this gen. I was foolishly under the belief that "Next generation" meant advancing from the PS2/Xbox right from the get go...opps. Not exactly. I just didn't realize how long it would take for EA's football games to get back on track.

So in someways, I made the jump to Next gen four years too early.

This, except I didn't move until Madden 08, and that wasn't even until April of 08. I honestly had no idea that next gen Madden was bad I thought it was ported over from last gen and had better graphics. That and I was poor until then so I couldn't justify paying 300+ on a system where I was really only going to play GTA, Madden and Elder Scrolls when I already owned a Xbox and those [generation of] games.
