With all due respect thats sort of like the people that have issues due to not having a HDTV or widescreen. Or those that complain about not having high speed internet. At some point you have to move ahead. The stick allows much more precise movement (If EA would program it that way) than the d-pad and is better overall IMO.

You simply can't keep holding back the genre and or gaming due to those that can't or wont move ahead in technology.

Not saying those that don't adapt are bad etc.. just saying at some point tech move ahead regardless...

Well thay HAVE TO at least program the CPU to use it. Being able to switch to DB and speed burst to the ball and get easy picks sucks. If the CPU would counter that by using a burst of their own to fight for the ball then ok. As it is now it's an unfair advantage over the CPU. I don't see how that can be looked at good.

I'd like to see them get rid of the speed button. The speed of the runner should correspond to how far forward you press the LS.

At max the runner should be at max speed or accelerating towards his top speed until he reaches it. Players with lower quickness and agility ratings will be punished from a speed and balance standpoint when changing directions if the LS stick is pushed to the max.

I think this could work really well in the running game. After receiving a handoff or a pitchout, the RB is rarely at full speed unless the hole opens right away. He strafes, cuts back, and sort of shuffles until he finds an opening and then he sprints to the hole and through it.

If this is implemented, the ACC, SPD, Balance, Quickness, and AGI ratings all become more evident as long as the sensitivity of the LS is tuned properly. I also think it could help the looks of the running animations from a physics standpoint.
