Madden is supposed to be released on August 14th correct?? Ok well thats a Friday, i dont think i've ever seen a game released on a Friday, arent they usually released on Tuesdays? Why is it different this year?

Why not? It's a Friday. It means I can now jam on Madden all weekend, instead of going to work on Wednesday with nothing but Madden on my mind.

I can stay up until I pass out, on that Friday, and just jam (so long as my kid allows me.)

I would rather it come out on Tuesday (like normal) and take Wednesday as a Madden-Holiday. Then I will be able to study up on these boards on Thursday and Friday (during the day while I'm at work and play those nights). Then we'll be at the weekend and I can still stay up and play.

Makes more sense to me, but then again I've been fiending for this game for months. So, I guess an extra few days won't make that big of a difference.

I read that some publishers are testing the notion of releasing games on Friday's compared to Tuesday's. Why? I have no clue.

It doesn't matter much to me because I don't get much time during the week to sit down and enjoy a game until the weekend.
