Play any game in franchise? - confirmed?

I know we could play any game from any side's schedule last year but with all of the changes that Josh and the team have made to franchise mode this year does this feature remain?

Also are we still able to watch these games as cpu v cpu?

Has anyone seen any information confirming these feature or could one of the jolly good chaps from EA drop by and let me know please?

This will definitely be a buy or no buy breaker for me.

I am still waiting to see how the cpu team uses the 40 sec clock, but this one is 2nd on the list.

It wasn't available in Head Coach and annoyed me every week of the season and not being able to watch the playoffs/superbowl is just to much.

I haven't watched many of the videos put out yet but if they are showing cpu vs cpu games then i would guess they will be available in franchise.

This has already been addressed. We can play any game we want. There is a calendar/play week section of the Franchise interface where this will be possible.

I thought this was a no because of the injury factor. How would you be able to play a week 14 game, and your qb gets injured for 8 weeks. It was a problem from what i heard that the team had and because of this they had to go week by week. At least online franchise mode is like this... I believe it was Josh Looman in either a video i saw or in a blog where he stated this.

They aren't talking about playing weeks put of order. They are saying if we control the Cowboys for example, can we also play or watch CPU vs CPU of Pats vs Jets that particular week. And Ian confirmed this to be true in the same thread he confirmed editing every player in franchise.

Found it...Ian does say that this is still possible...which is great news.
