Collingsworth is horrible, always has been. I remember a few years ago, the season after he left fox, they showed a clip of him at a Bengals game. He was sitting in the row all by himself with his kids sitting behind him. The pre-game show made a remark how not even his kids want to be with him. Everybody in the studio laughed.

As bad as Madden got later on, I'll take him anyday over Collingsworth.

lol. I do. When I'm having a bad game and losing 24-0, I can't stand hearing Collinsworth "explain" why I'm getting killed. Reminds me of the wife "telling" me what I'm doing wrong when I'm trying to fix the car and has no idea what's she's talking about. It just makes it so much worse.

I cut the commentary off when I played 09, to be honest just hearing the same comments in these Madden 10 vids literally made me ill. Now they are gonna be on ps2 too. No commentary for me this year.

See my sig....Madden said it twice in that game, the second time you could hear Al trying to stifle his laughter in the background...then you heard Madden pause a little...almost a "whadda say?" moment...then the penny dropped, and he cracked up too...

They were to me the best commentary combo. Madden hardly missed anything, and he analysed plays better than anyone. Add in his talent for "stating the bleedin' obvious" in a comic way, and there's no contest. I can't believe we won't hear him in the booth again

I for one, hope he gets bored and `does a Favre`

I miss madden and michaels in Madden. They made the games feel important since they're such big time announcers. I just turn off the commentary now and jack up the PA and crowd noise (even though it's broken) and pretend I'm at the game instead of watching it on tv.
