Advantage of Preordering?

besides the fact of gettin a better demo from gamestop, is there any actual advantage? would i actually get it that much earlier, or could i get it just as early as goin to the store

Nothing else than a demo which includes the super bowl rematch and 5 minute quarters. so its for those, you can't await it^^

Well I pre ordered so I could get Free over night shipping from Gamestop.

I almost always pre-order games I know I'll end up picking up. For me its advantageous because I'm a college kid and its tough to justify throwing down $60 on a game at once. When I pre-order, I can put my $5 down on the game, and keep chipping away and adding to that 5 every time I have a little extra cash. You can always get a game the day it comes out, so this is the only real advantage for me. Plus with Madden, you can snag it at midnight (they ony let those who pre-ordered pick it up at midnight). The demo and other specials they sometimes offer are also incentives to pre-order.

I've preordered before, but I've never been to the midnight release...

The demo is the main thing you would be getting, but in past years, theres no advantage, because I could just walk in to any store the day it comes out, and very few would be sold out. If one gamestop is sold out, theres like 4 others within driving distance from me, or theres bestbuy, target, etc.

Reserving a Game Stop used to be a big deal years ago back when they used to run out on release day. That doesn't seem to be a problem there anymore.
