Re: Using imported or EA created draft classes?

I've always imported because I want to be as realistic as it can be, but I think this year I will go with the made draft class for madden. I just want to know are we going to be able to edit rookies after they turn pro? Like I would want to turn a rookie that has been drafted by a team into a real player can I do that? like change color name school face etc? if I can I think I will just go with maddens draft

Seems like the madden classes will be a lot more realistic (and fun) than the NCAA classes. Imported classes will not have the late gems and early busts like the Madden classes. Read the Gameshark interview for more.

Re: Using imported or EA created draft classes?

Do we know if the created draft classes are locked as far as "Name to Ratings"?
What I mean is if I'm in two franchises and in the first there is a Joe Schmoe who turns out to be a diamond in the rough and ends up a superstar... In my other franchise with there be a Joe Schmoe that = the same person thus making the second franchise less of a surprise during the drafting etc.....

Hopefully they have a huge set of names and a seperate set with the ratings and each franchise randomly joins them to create the draft class.

I remember hearing somewhere that a select few prospects' names are locked, but that most have their names randomly generated. I also remember hearing that the players' attributes would change by a very small value each time a class is loaded so that it wouldn't be exactly the same each time.

Not entirely positive on that information, though.

Not a fan of the pre-created draft classes. The locked names will leak, I'll read one and feel guilty. I'll stick with the college players.

Will offensive linemen have more impact in the draft because most of the time the first offensive lineman wont come off the board until the 3rd round unless you make a beast in NCAA 09 and export him over to madden. They probably have fixed this because of the recent trends of lineman going very high in the first round. (Joe Thomas, Jake Long, D'Brickshaw Ferguson, Jason Smith, Orlando Pace, Ryan Clady, etc.) This would add a great level of realism to the game.

Not true...They aren't any generated names. They are all locked.
