Re: knocking off helmets

They allow it in ps2 versions but not the current consoles? Wtf? I honestly just think its a EA decision.

Im assuming good ol Roger Goodell has already approved helmets flying off, so why isnt this in Madden 10? Sometimes when I hear stuff like this I start to wonder. From what I have gathered the past few months on this forum, making a Nuclear bomb is most likely easier than making a simple video game we call Madden. Really how hard could it be to put all these little things in???

Re: knocking off helmets

Is it really that big of a deal? If they're going to put that in because you see it 4-5 times a year than I want them to have fumbled snaps because that actually affects the game and it happens atleast once every three or four games.

They should also put streakers in. It happens once every couple years, so I want to see that in my franchise...

Just kidding about the second one. But, if they are going to put this helmet stuff in I'd rather them put in other, more relevant things first.

Things have been taken out of Madden before because the NFL decides against it...plus the PS2/Xbox versions are just updated rosters...none of the new features/modes in them right?

I personally have no clue what that number would be, but I'd consider it small enough to say it's "extremely rare".
This, but I think it happens 4 or 5 times a year...

Re: knocking off helmets

It has been in the ps2 version for many years, even when the ps2 was still the main console. I'm pretty sure if the NFL cared, they would have removed it long time ago. So it goes back to my belief that it is strictly an EA decision not to include it in the current consoles.
