An Idea to make kicking more realistic (and challenging)

I like using the right stick to control the power and accuracy of the kick, however I was thinking that you should have to hold the right stick down until your are about to kick it and then flick it up. This would require more skill and timing. I also think that the more quickly you flick the stick the more power it you send into the kick. This would also make it realistic because you in essence "flick" your leg up when you kick the ball. Also it would be more realistic and challenging because it is harder to aim the stick when you flick it as opposed to pushing or pressing it up. Just an idea for m11.

And for punters I think it should be the same process except you hold the right stick down once he gets the ball and then flick it up (or in the direction you want) when he's ready to kick it.

There should be a meter for each and the kicker's awareness should provide you a corresponding window of when you should flick it and offer a sweet spot as well.

for starters they need to remove the wind mph meter when playing on all madden

They need to tone down the power. Way to easy to hit those 50 yarders. And how 'bout a block or a missed PAT every once and a while?

i personally liked the double tap of past gen maddens. you press X (ps3), the meter goes up for power, you tap X to measure power, then the meters flies down and you tap it again in the accuracy zone. It was much more realistic and you didn't get nearly as many as perfect kicks as you see today.

APF Kicking game was very crappy. I could not even figure it outhow to use it. My kicks kept going short on kick offs. No meter= crappy kicking system. Yes the current madden kicking system does need to be redone. But that can be done next year. It's fine for this year.
