yeah the Vikings have 2 HBs and 1 FB. I hope the requirements aren't as soecific as they used to be. Most teams do not carry 10 OL. That is why versatility is so important

Right. Most teams look for backups that can play multiple positions on the OL. 10 OL is a thing of the past.

If you look at it most teams have 8 to 10 OL on their roster. I like the Position requirements but just hope they dont interfere when trying to change players positions like last year.

Will I be seeing teams of 48 take on teams of 55 in franchise mode still or will Madden finally adhere to the NFL's 53-man roster? All teams should carry 53 players in franchise mode and IR should work properly.

IR doesn't work properly yet.

the position requirements should be more vague and grouped differently. one group would be "offensive backfield" where you would have to have some combination like 5 or 6 players, or "secondary" where you have to have at least 8 guys, but in both cases, they can be any combination of the positions that make up that particular group. so in offensive backfield you can have 4 rbs and 2 qbs but no fbs, or in secondary you can have 3 dbs and 5 safeties.

I agree with this. I'd split it up like so:

QB (2 Req)
RBs (4 Req, FBs included)
WR (4 Req)
TE (2 Req)
OL (8 Req)
DL (6 Req)
LB (6 Req)
CB (4 Req)
S (3 Req)

That leaves you flexibility to fill your roster with 13 extra players wherever you want to keep them.

secondary positions could also fix this problem. maybe have guys like jason allen who qualify as cb and s, or troy brown for the pats when he was a wr/cb. leron mclain is a fb/hb, etc etc.
