What will it take to make the running animations fluid?

This is a serious topic. 2k didn't quite do it right and we know that Madden NFL 10's current build has animation issues and "tronn-jogging", but I'd just like to see some clarification of why it's so... odd.

I mean, did this guy do the animations or something?

Tronn-jogging is one thing, but Perez-running isn't very pretty either.

Another thread on run animations. It's up to the EA developers to fix the animations, we've had enough discussions on this imo.

Yeah, when Ian talked about having a bigger room, it made a lot of sense. A bigger room for mo cap would make the running animations look more realistic.

For Madden 10, all they need to do is make the players arms and legs move faster. They cover too much field with their legs running that slow. If they made the legs and arms move faster it would actually make it look somewhat normal...somewhat.
