Waste gas to get demo code??

Is it me are did Gamestop promise that we would have the code for the demo sent to us by email who ever reserved it. I waited 2 days after the 15th to find out that I had to run out to gamestop just get the code after I found out it came to my local store. Was it worth the 8 bucks in gas. I guess so. But I was promised on the website email delivery and not a store pick up. But tell me did any of you have to do the same thing are did you get it by email? This only a question for people who reserved madden 10 at gamestop.

It depends. How did you reserve it? If you reserved it in-store, then they were never going to e-mail it to you. In-store reservations get in-store cards for the demo. If you reserved it online and were having it shipped to your house... then you should get it e-mailed to you.

So, in reality you are paying around $72 for Madden 10.

I don't know why a demo is so important. The game will be out in a few short weeks, why ruin the experience of playing Madden 10 for the first time. I guess the only reason you would want the demo is if you were undecided.
