Wow... Those are some great videos. They almost make me want to stop playing madden... but I'm weak and probably will anyways.

No doubt madden looks like it is on the right path, but continuing to play APF and watching these videos remind me that the madden team still has a long way to go to catch 2k when it comes to football on the field. APF player animations and on field physics, and madden's on field gameplay are just light years apart. It's not even close. I think Ian and crew can bridge the gap but it is just unfortunate that we have to wait.

The fact that Ryanmoody and Apex have different approaches is actually a good thing IMO. That lets you know people from all different backgrounds notice some of the same flaws with the game. And them saying the same thing in different ways is great because it will capture a broader audience.

Apex has his way and Ryanmoody has another. Some dont like Ryanmoodys videos some dont like Apexs.

Short answer to the thread title: No. Just watch #77 in this next video. Pulls out wide to lead block on a screen pass, turns around and runs the complete opposite direction, HB is then hammered by two defenders because he had no blocker. Ugly.

Amen! The other fellow makes good points but I have a hard time listening to him. Moody is easier to listen to for me.

Great post I agree with the awareness one of the only things that drives me crazy about madden.
