If you time(not exact just approx) the amount of time it takes CJ to get from his opponents 40 to the endzone(like a 40 yard dash) you'll see a HUGE timing discrepency, the gamespeed is WAY off to the real life game, i know EA has deliberately lowered the gamespeed, however, for those who constantly ask for a "sim" game, when madden drops if i hear you saying that madden has remotely came closer to a sim game, your contradicting yourself, because theres no way you can call a football game "sim" if the gamespeed is not SIMULATED correctly

Ian has already come forward and said that Madden 10 is still faster than real NFL speed. They toned it down about 10% since Madden 09, and I think they are going to try and get the game speed even more realistic in Madden 11.

i dunno...if the game speed doesnt portray real life on default you can always go into practice mode, get a 4.3 runner and tune the speed slider to match a real life 4.3 run. thats what i'd do anyway.

thats true but i dont play franchise mode or any of tht other stuff, i play competitively in tourneys and for $, and because of that, esp online, the default settings always rule, so its pointless for me change the gamespeed knowing when i play in a tourney or for $ its going to be on default.

I'm confused. It took him a 9 count in Madden, and a 7 or 7.5 count in real life. Meaning Madden is slower than in real life. Is that right? Is that the issue?

Tourneys aren't real football anyways, it's just a bunch of cheesers, so why worry?

yes it it, the gameplay speed in madden has been lowered a considerable amount
