Although we don't want to set a standard for players being able to whine, the rating system could be handled a lot better. I'm not sure if it's just Donny who handles the ratings but heres my idea.

It'd be better if there was a group of 2-3 people per team that followed that team closely and rated the players. Of course it'd go thru an approval process.

I think it's too much to expect one man to finely tune each player on each team. Stats dont tell the whole story.

It's completely stupid to think a guy who is actually in a video game is complaining about his rating whether it's too high or too low. Houshmanzadeh gets paid a boatload of money to play football in the NFL and gets himself in a Madden video game and he complains about the rating and boycotts the game he's actually in. Stupid.

One person is asking a lot BUT this isn't college where you have large rosters and a ton of teams. There are a lot of diehards out there that can probably tell you the names of virtually every starter on every team plus a ton of online resourses with player rankings. And with one person overseeing everything, you make sure the ratings are relevant.

If you had 2-3 different people per team, you could be using a ton of different ratings systems which are all subjective. It's more important to have the ratings be good relative to one another ie. TJ is the 6th best WR in the NFC is more imporant than the actual score. That's easier to achieve with one ratings person doing most of the work.
