Since there is no NFL Head Coach this year is there an option on madden 10 for Auto-Throw or Coach Mode.

Coach Mode is an option in Madden'10 this year. This was confirmed in one of the earlier blogs; I believe it was the one related to "customization".

There is a setting labeled "coach mode" from what I saw/read. The question is whether this is an actual full-blown coach mode (like 2K5 or what used to be on Madden) or if it's just a QB auto-throw like (apparently) NCAA has. The difference being in the former you only call plays for everything, but for the latter you have to handle kicks.

I'd actually play coach mode once in a while if they had a broadcast camera.

From my understanding it's suppose to be a true coach mode.

What I liked about last year's PS2 version of coach mode was that you could finally have total control of the offense by putting men in motion, flipping run direction, flipping formation, and changing blocking protection which had been absent in previous installments. I hope it is that way in the new gen version and not just a half-hearted attempt.

I too would love the broadcast view with a good coach mode.
