Why does my 360 take so long to download demos??? HELP!

This demo is only 1GB and I started downloading it 10 minutes ago and it's still at 1%. But that's how it is for all of the demos I download. That would mean my internet is basically dialup speed, which it is not. I can download 1 GB on my computer in about 10 minutes. So why does it take so long on my 360?

Are you directly wired to your modem?? Or are you working with the wireless adapter? Other than your ISP DL speed, this would be the only reason for your slow DL

I have played the whole demo 4 times already and im still not bored. Im amazed especially knowing this isnt the finished game.

Edit:

What type of internet connection do you have, and whats your download speed.

Also remember, internet connections are in set in Kbps (kilobits per second), not KBps (kilobytes per second). Even though files that you download are in KB's. So for example, if you have a download speed of 6Mbps, you might see your download is at/around 600KBps.

Another thing to keep in mind, is that even though Xbox Live is a huge Network, there is throughput issues in High Peek download times.

360 demos download fast all the time...You must have a router issue or hamsters running your speed


i downloaded both demos in less then 25 minutes....both
