Re: Are You Going to be an Elitist?

Last year they had 2.3 million nexgen sales in the first month. Using that number (it could easily be higher this year), if 25% of the consumers become "elite" that's an extra $2,875,000 income. If enough people become "elite" you could see a $65 game next year.

Re: Are You Going to be an Elitist?

I'll wait a while and see if there are actually more people willing to play straight sim games before buying this. This could actually be good, because now this will be a calling card for anyone who wants a fair simulation game. Although just asking for a game here at OS with someone would save you a bit of money this could actually be very interesting to see how many people actually play fair since its made for this purpose.

If that is the most ludicrous thing you have ever heard you don't participate in many conversations. I too would pay in excess of $115 to get a sim/adult experience online for games like COD and Madden. Many of us out here have expendable income for things like this. I play golf 3 or 4 times a week at roughly $70 a pop, why not pay $115 to make my x-box live experience countless times better. Seems like a pretty good deal to me. Just my opinion...

Re: Are You Going to be an Elitist?

Here's how it needs to be done:

1) After every game, there should be a small questinaire about the opponents gameplay

2) There should be 4-5 questions that decide cheese or sim.
-Did your opponent play realistically in the sprit of the game? 1-10
(furthe defined as: punt on fourth? Vary playcalling? etc..)
-Did your opponent use any unfair tactics or glitches? 1-10
-Did your opponent exhibit good sportsmanship? 1-10
-How do you rate the overall quality of this game? 1-10
*Average all these and you have the score.

3) These reviews should all go together and determine a ranking on a 1-10 scale. 10 being most sim, 0 being a cheeser.

4) You need to only be able to leave feedback once per player.

Sure you will have guys that leave bad feedback everytime they lose, but as more games are played, it will balance out and be pretty accurate. Basically it needs to work like MS feedback, except have more than one rating, and it should actually work and diplay some type of number for each player that actually matters.
