Drawing defensive players offside

Has anyone seen this happen in Madden? I love how in APF at times you can use a hard count and a defensive player will jump and then try to get back. Of course you can snap it and if the flag is thrown you have a free play. Does this happen in Madden? If not, this is one of those "small" realism items that seem to never show up in madden games that make you scratch your head. Hopefully this happens.

I know in NCAA you can make them jump, but they always hit your blocker, so you never get the free play. Thats one aspect I love in the 2k games. Free plays are always nice to have. Throw it deep and you don't care what happens.

Re: Drawing defensive players offside

There is no dev response to this either? I would really like to know if it is in the game. If not, I wonder if EA ever considered changing the motto of madden 10 from "if you see it on Sunday" to "if you saw it in 2k". Seems like that would be the first place to start... Sorry, bad joke I know.

Anyway, would be cool to have free plays and players trying to get back onside when they jump the snap. These types of things are the "polish" that Madden lacks and add so much to the authenticity of the games.

Its there. To magnify its frequency try a single count drive then come out and quiet the crowd. After the crowd is quiet for 3-5 seconds, fake snap. You should see a lineman jump and recover or hit a lineman. If they try to recover you can probably catch them in the neutral zone if you snap it quick. I haven't tried to so I can't say if it works.

Good luck!
