This does look like a problem. Thanks to the OP for pointing it out. Now the BIG question. Is this something that can be fixed in a patch? If so, then I imagine it would be in the 2nd patch given that we are so close to the release date.

It looks like this may be a significant issue for gamers. Lets hope that Ian addresses this.

It's not a new problem. It was in 08, 07, 06 and quite a few more as has been iterated. This is how the quick pass became popular. 1 step drop, bullet lead pass inside, CB has no chance. To me this will not get fixed the way it needs to be fixed until they either 1) allow the user to game plan corners based on coverage and specific assignments for the field and boundary corner or 2) build into certain coverages, based on who is the field and boundary corner, the proper coverage technique

So if this is true, the fade route(where you break out and up not the streak) from the right side should get open easier also on the right side. Has anyone tested this out? Either way this isn't very good.

Pro Bowler, I haven't tested the effectiveness, but I'm guessing the Fade would work a little better on the right side. On the left side, they won't even really run a fade against man press. They break off to the right and then just go straight upfield. It looks the same as a GO route.

Props to you for bringing this to the forum. Hope it gets addressed ASAP but I have a feeling it won't because it seems issues the dev's know they're not going to fix just don't get a response, no matter how valid or important the complaint.
