Is spectacular catch in madden 10?

Just curious here. I've been trying to throw jump balls but its not hitting the spectacular catch animation. Does the animation only work on certain settings?

There is a spectacular catch rating but I don't believe there is a specific animation for it, just more that it implies if that receiver can make that highlight reel grab.

Nothing wrong with that catch. I do it with Fitzgerald all the time in the demo.

Spectacular catch was when the WR would jump up and grab the ball in 1 hand then fall to the ground.
