Reminds me of one of the Nascar series games when you had to hit a series of buttons to get a good pitstop time.

So I voted "no".

Re: Thought's on "Fight for Fumble"

There's been a lot a feedback from on this topic. Really great stuff guys (very mature also ) and I hope that EA will look at this.

My question is if we turn off the feature will it go back to the normal whoever gets lucky thing. Or will we still have the cut scene take place but, no button mashing.

If anyone knows anything feel free to chime in.

I would like to know this as well. If it's just the cutscene with everything else random, that would be great!

I think so. Was it Steve or Chris on OS that got the game? Whoever it was, I wonder if they could tell us?

Yea I would like confirmation as well.

A few posts up Exonerated said that there will still be a cut scene but I have never seen this mentioned anywhere else.

Would definately like to know for sure, even though regardless of the answer I will have fftf off.

Steve has the game. He's playing an online franchise with the EA devs I believe.

Lve the pile ups, HATE the button mashing. I am happy to just let the ratings dictate the outcome. I voted NO BTW.

Re: Thought's on "Fight for Fumble"

There has been this crusade against button mashing for the last few years and I'm tired of it.

I think that button mashing is a SKILL that rewards hustle, talent, and effort. Personally, a fumble is the BEST place to have this skill represented in a video game because it is a case where a player will hustle and fight under the pile.

don't get me wrong, I LOVE using the controller for more intellectual rewards.. I use the shot stick in 2K over buttons and I use TCP in fight night over buttons; but for something that requires pure hustle, do not downgrade button mashing as a classic, fundamental video game skill. just because it doesn't require thought or sophisticated technique doesn't mean that its not an ability and skill.
