First you said:

^^^ This is not true at all by the way. Possession changes hands often during a pileup in situations where the ball is loose and both sides are fighting for it. Less so when the ball is clearly recovered by one team, much less so, but not "never", and again it depends on how well the player who jumped on it has possession. If it's not secure chances are he's going to lose it.

But then you said...

Yep, and this happens all the time.

We can't expect anything to be perfect, and I could've sworn the devs said that the first to jump on it has the advantage. I know plenty of times the CPU jumped on it first and I had a shot to take it away but lost it as they started out with a higher meter advantage.

Re: Thought's on "Fight for Fumble"

i'm on the fence on this one. i have yet to come across a situation where I have the clear advantage but then lose the fight which is good. although it does happen sometimes so it would be good to see how often this does happen. i'll probably keep it on and try it out for a bit then turn it off if it's not working out to my liking.

if i turn it off, does the pile up animation not even happen showing everyone fighting for the ball??

Like everything, I like the feature but it needs more work. I am sure they will tweak it and make it easier and better. Fighting for fumbles is a part of an NFL game so I am glad they put it in.

I hate nonsensical button mashing.

I voted NO. Fight for the fumble is poorly designed.

I'd rather just watch an animation and let the CPU flip a coin to see who wins the fumble recovery.

I like the idea but not the implementation.

I hate mini-games. I hate flashing icons. My hope is that EA finds a better, less arcadey, less intrusive way of doing this next year. I can't even enjoy the pile-up because I have to watch the button icons.

I like it, but... don't know if it's something I will keep on in the future.
